Peak Performance Test & Tune Days

Are you serious about performance testing?
Do you want exclusive track time without tackling the ever growing Run What Ya Brungs (RWYB) to get tuned up for that special event?

Santa Pod Raceway invites drivers & riders to the Peak Performance Days held on:

• Saturday 15th March 2008
• Friday 4th April 2008 - Tesuto (Jap Cars Only)
• Saturday 17th May 2008
• Friday 13th June 2008
• Friday 15th August 2008
• Saturday 30th August 2008

These Peak Performance Days have replaced the test days held in previous years and provide a cost-effective way of testing with lots of track time and pit-space, with a full track preparation to race standard. Places are restricted to a maximum of 100 and are available on a first-come/first-served basis. This event is open to both cars and bikes.

These Peak Performance track days have a strict limit on the number of track "sign-ons", and are designed to give maximum track time and pit-space to serious performance enthusiasts. Peak Performance days are great opportunities for race teams and individuals to get their cars tuned-up for that big event. All types of vehicle are welcome.

The Drag Strip will be fully prepared for maximum traction and full performance printouts are available after every run you do, showing reaction time, speed and elapsed time at intervals up to the 1/4 mile. Emergency services and marshals will make sure you are able to get the most out of the day in the safest possible way.

Admission Fees & Regulations:

• *Booking fee applies - £1 per admission ticket, maximum £5 per order.
• children under 16- free entry.
• parking is free - cars, bikes and trailers.
• Driving licence must be presented by all.
• Catering facilities provided.
• Usual Run What Ya Brung rules apply. See Rules & Regulations.
• Limited sign-ons. Book in advance to guarantee your place.

NB: Please note: If we pre-sell all available sign-ons then there will be no availability to sign-on at the event.

• Gates open 8AM on each test day.
• The drag strip will be open between 10AM and 5PM on each test day, track and weather conditions permitting.
• All riders/drivers must present a valid National driver's licence when signing on at the test day.
• If you are a drag racer you must show a valid national drivers licence together with a valid competition licence showing the grading for the type of vehicle they will drive/ride when signing-on. It is each driver/rider responsibility to make sure that their vehicle meets the safety regulations for their competition class.
• No permit from the RAC MSA/ FIA or the ACU/ FIM will be in place. It is the responsibility of the drivers/riders to provide their own insurance. Santa Pod Raceway will provide a third party insurance.
• Usual Run What Ya Brung rain-out rules will be in place.
• All vehicles and trailers must be removed from the pits before 6pm on each test day unless prior arrangements have been made to leave the vehicle in the Pits.  There will be some space for parking trailers at the main gate area until the gate opens; contact the track office if you would like to leave your trailer.

How do I book my place on the test day?

Print out and fill in the Booking Form and post or fax (credit card only) it to Santa Pod Raceway together with a cheque/postal order for the total amount made payable to Santa Pod Raceway, or the card details if relevant. The form together with the payment must arrive at Santa Pod Raceway together to secure a place. Advance booking closes on the Friday a week before an event.
