The Santa Pod RWYB Speed Table
The Street Challenge 2008 is a RWYB Speed Table which lets you see where your best quarter mile time at Santa Pod ranks with other "street legal"* cars and bikes. Register at www.rwyb.com at any time during the 2008 RWYB series in order to compete. Prizes for the quickest driver in 2008 and at each eligible event plus the quickest rider in 2008. New for 2008 bikes can enter the Street Challenge and will have their own tables and season prize.

To join the speed table, you must pre-register your vehicle online and obtain your personal race number. At the track this race number should be displayed on the rear of the vehicle clearly visible to staff in the race control tower (shoe whitener is recommended and some will be available from the signing on office). If the staff in the control tower do not see a CC number then your time will not be valid.
You can collect your timing slip as normal from the signing-on office and after each meeting we will post the Street Challenge times together with an updated season table here on the website.
The driver with the quickest time at each eligible event will receive a voucher for FREE entry and Sign-on at a RWYB meeting. The driver and rider with the quickest times in 2008 will receive £500 and be our VIP guests at Santa Pod Raceway's end of season Flame & Thunder Show, where a trophy and cheque presentation will take place. Hotel accommodation will also be provided for the Saturday night.

*The definition of what constitutes a "street legal car or bike" is at the Race Director's discretion but as a basic guide a vehicle must have a valid MOT and treaded tyres ("treaded tyres" include all DOT & E Marked tyres), completely slick tyres are not allowed. Removal of a headlight for increased airflow, extra wide/narrow tyres, use of race fuel and NOS systems are allowed.
